FCS Culture and
Arts program arts
competition starting April 8.
The contestants will be divided into 3 different groups: elementary,
middle school and high school. Materials for their projects
will be provided for by FCS. Applicants must register and submit a list of supply they would need for their project
upon registration. Art supplies
will be ready for pick up the following week.
Impt dates:
The deadline for
submission - May 17, 2013.
Winners Prizes will be awarded on May 24, 2013.
All finished art works will be
displayed at the Padiriwang at the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall on June 8 and
9, 2013. The winning art pieces
will be displayed at the Filipino Community Center for at least a

Family Academy Classes
include Tagalog classes for grades 1-8. Classes on Saturday, 10 am to
11:30 am, followed by folk dance classes with Tropa Filipiniana and
chorus singing with GLEE. Registration forms available at the Filipino
Community Center, 5740 M.L. King Jr. Way, Seattle, WA 98119. For more

May 17, 6pm, FCC. FIlm about FIlipino Festivals. Donations welcome. Snacks available.
May 31, Friday, 7pm. FCC, General Membership Meeting, FCS members. Topics include: FCS Village, FCS Village Capital Campaign, FCS Bylaws Amendments, FCS Membership Drive Update.
June 8, 9. 10-6pm Pagdiriwang. Seattle Center. Showcasing Filipino culture and heritage. Food booth, games, exhibits.
